SIM Doro Clinic

The SIM Doro Clinic is a Christian-based health center located in Doro, in a very rural area of northern South Sudan, near the border with Sudan. Our patients include not only the local population but also many refugees from various ethnic groups in Sudan. When people come to the clinic, they often present not only with physical illnesses but also with signs of trauma, starvation, and psychological distress.

The SIM Doro Clinic is known as a place where healthcare staff care for patients and provide holistic healthcare. Many travel long distances and sometimes even pass by other clinics on their way to seek help here.

We offer an outpatient clinic for basic medical care, prenatal care and family planning services, a leprosy clinic, and a nutrition program that provides counseling to mothers of malnourished children. It is important to us to be able to counsel our patients holistically, encourage them, share God’s Word with them, and pray for them.

Some of our staff members conduct outreach missions in surrounding villages to share health and prevention knowledge with the local population, as well as the biblical message. The ongoing training of our staff is a priority for us, whether in the medical field, trauma healing, or leadership roles. Donate for this project
